Each year 4.000 Danish women diagnosed with breast cancer. The chance of surviving the disease has risen steadily over the past 30 years. This is due to significant advances in treatment outcomes, which means that breast cancer today is one of the cancers with the highest survival. The disease affects mostly women over 50 years. More than 50.000 Danish women are now living with the disease. Nearly 1.300 women die from breast cancer each year.
